How To Eat In The COVID-19 Environment
Before December 2019, life was so beautiful. But the sudden outbreak of Covid-19 has turned our lives upside down. The pandemic has hit us so hard that we are still struggling to stabilize ourselves emotionally and physically with this “new normal”. We are living in difficult times, and it is tough to follow the same routine as before.
We know that it is really hard to cope with this isolation and not to eat your favorite tacos, creamy pasta, and pizza that you used to eat. This increases the boredom, and you feel like you are on the fringes. But what if we show you some ways to enjoy your favorite food in the Covid-19 environment? Sounds interesting, isn’t it?
Read below to find out how you can eat in a Covid-19 environment?
Plan your meals
When you plan your meal, you will know what food to buy this month so you can easily cook your favorite meal at home.
Groceries to buy
Citrus fruits such as oranges and lemons should be a priority while doing grocery. However, try to avoid buying more salty and sugary foods. Also, don’t buy high sugar drinks and sodas; instead, you can purchase citrus juice and berries.
Load up food items
Try not to go shopping every week, but instead purchase food for a month and stock it to minimize the exposure.
Plan and enjoy occasional dining comfort
If you follow all precautions, you can go out for a meal at least once a week or twice a month and enjoy the delicious food while following the safety precautions and keeping a distance of 6 ft.
Try to get along with your environment
It’s okay if you don’t have sweets, crackers, and snacks in your cupboard. No matter how much you crave it, you have to deal with your surroundings and teach yourself not to go out unnecessarily.
These are just simple ways to manage/eat during the ongoing environment. But remember, whether you eat outside or at home, wash or disinfect your hands before eating. There is no evidence of transmission of this virus through food, but it is better to be on the safe side and take precautions.
